
Sarah Descoteaux
Sarah Descoteaux joined AAM15 in May of 2025 as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Sarah is an accomplished HR professional with over 20 years of experience leading human resources operations, talent management, benefits strategy, HR technology, and large-scale organizational transformations. Her long tenure in HR working in complex organizations has made her deeply passionate about building scalable, systemized HR frameworks that empower people, strengthen culture, and drive sustainable organizational growth.
Prior to joining AAM15, Sarah was VP of HR Operations at Curaleaf, where she was instrumental in scaling the largest US based cannabis operator from 1,500 to over 6,000 employees through the successful integration of 19 acquisitions. Sarah led the development and standardization of company-wide HR policies and processes, built a centralized HR and benefits management team, and led cross-functional initiatives to optimize HR systems and compliance in a heavily regulated environment.
Prior to Curaleaf, Sarah spent over 17 years at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she managed a $14 million annual benefits budget, led payroll and HR operations, and drove compensation, compliance, and labor relations initiatives for the Museum’s retail, curatorial, and art school operations.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Stonehill College and is based in Wakefield, Massachusetts where she lives were her husband and her twin girls. When she is not working, you can find her cheering the girls on from the soccer, basketball, and volleyball sidelines or at home with her two cats, Judy and Nancy.
